Inside is a particularly strong late-'60s lineup. Cara Peters appears in the Medi-Cara pictorial photographed by Kirk Hovsepian; Toni Marie is featured in Toni des Yeux Vertes, photographed by Irv Carsten; Chris Starr appears in Starr Light, Starr Bright, photographed by Ron Vogel; and Miss Bergman is featured in Sultry Sophia. The same archival source identifies Chris Starr as the issue's centerfold. Pulp International
The issue also includes “Queen of Lust”, a piece built around Marie Antoinette; “George Blake: Russia's Top Double Agent”; The First One; A Company Man; A Matter of a Soldier's Etiquette; and a movie feature on The Fox.
One particularly interesting literary connection is Gary Paulsen, credited here with the fiction story A Matter of a Soldier's Etiquette. Paulsen would later become a major American author best known for young-adult adventure fiction.
A great piece of 1968 newsstand culture, combining classic glamour photography, fiction, Cold War material and that unmistakable striped ADAM design.
Condition: Nice vintage condition for an original 1968 publication with expected handling and surface wear. The colorful Barbie Dahl cover remains bright and presents very well. Please review the photos for condition and details.
