MYSTIQUE Issue No. 1 – “Read This If You Dare!” – Vintage Glamour & Pin-Up Magazine – Premiere Issue

Original MYSTIQUE Issue No. 1, billed on the cover as “An All New Mens Magazine” and “Read This If You Dare!” This is the premiere issue, featuring a dramatic full-color cover and black-and-white photography throughout.

The contents have a particularly cool mystery, witchcraft and supernatural theme, with features including Is Every Woman a Witch, Voodoo Dance, The Demon Lover, Midnight Moods and Magic Is the Mood Light.

Also inside are The Wild One, An Animal Named Passion, Touch of the Temptresses, Passionate Pickup, Smoke Dance, Mystery Miss, Girl With the Freckled Bosom, The Nice Berg Commeth, The Black Jaguar, Study in Black and cartoons.

The contents page runs through page 66, with a mixture of glamour pictorials, fiction, articles and period photography.

I searched for this exact MYSTIQUE Issue No. 1 using several of the distinctive story titles, but it appears to be extremely poorly documented online. I couldn't find reliable publication-date or publisher information, so I would not invent a year or publisher for the listing.

Condition: Nice vintage condition with expected handling and surface wear. The striking black-and-pink cover remains colorful and presents very well. Please review the photos for condition and details.
