Glamor Parade Vol. 2 No. 4 – December 1958 – Nanci Childers Cover – Bettie Page Movie Ad

Original Glamor Parade Vol. 2 No. 4, dated December 1958, published by Actual Publishing Company, Inc. of New York and edited by Warren Mansfield. The colorful cover features Nanci Childers, whose name is printed directly on the cover.

This classic late-1950s glamour magazine includes “The Truth About Paris Strip Queens,” “Beauties of the Undieworld!” and a special color section, along with a mixture of glamour photography, humor, articles and cartoons.

Contents include The Long, Dark Hall, Beach Check, Dennis the Menace, Blue-White Blonde, Beauties of the Undieworld, Doodles to Drool Over, Lollipop, Lollipop, Jayne’s a Jem!, Miss Perfect, The Truth About Paris Strip Queens, Call of the Wild, Color Pin Up – Sheila Rudy, New Shake for the Old Grind, The Case of the Bashful Blonde, Reverie, Dawn Comes Up Like Thunder, Wahini Wow, Reveille With Beverly, Giving the Bard the Bird, and more.

An especially interesting collector feature is an original period Bettie Page Movies advertisement offering Bettie Page 8mm and 16mm films titled Bettie Misbehaves and Double Exposure, along with Bettie Page glossy photo sets. That period advertisement gives this issue additional crossover appeal for Bettie Page and vintage pin-up memorabilia collectors.

A great piece of 1950s men's-magazine and pin-up culture with a striking Nanci Childers cover, color glamour material and the terrific Bettie Page film advertisement inside.

Condition: Very nice vintage condition for its age with expected handling and surface wear from an original 1958 publication. The cover remains bright and colorful with some edge, spine and corner wear. Interior pages show normal age toning. Overall, it presents very nicely for its age. Please review the photos for condition and details.
