NAKED No. 2 – Black Mass in the Nude – Devil Worship – Phenix Publishers – Vintage Occult Nudist Magazine

Original NAKED No. 2, the second issue of this unusual vintage publication from Phenix Publishers, Ltd., San Diego, California.

Billed on the cover as “The Bold ‘Nude Wave’ Magazine of the Young & Naked,” this second issue combines period nudist photography with a particularly striking occult-themed feature:

🔥 BLACK MASS IN THE NUDE

😈 A Documentary on Nakedness and Devil Worship

The interior publisher statement identifies the magazine as NAKED No. 2, published by Phenix Publishers, Ltd., 5839 Mission Gorge Road, San Diego, California 92120. The publishers describe the magazine as a cultural and sociological publication documenting physical nudity and nudist principles.

The occult feature depicts a staged Black Mass scenario involving young actors and ritual imagery. One caption describes participants gathering at midnight for the “black rites,” with dancing, fire, ritual powders and chanting intended to evoke Satan.

The cover itself is an incredible piece of vintage underground publishing imagery, featuring a costumed ritual scene arranged around a large pentagram.
